The one mistake I consistently see among entrepreneurs whose marketing isn’t working is they generally don’t spend enough time understanding the psychology of their ideal customer.

This should actually be the lead domino. If you get it right in the beginning everything else becomes easy.

Service-based entrepreneurs in particular think their brand is based on how they project themselves out into the world, where it’s actually about how you’re being perceived by your market.

The market always decides if you don’t spend enough time actually understanding their buying psychology. They’re the ones who will decide that you’re not the right fit.

When we spend enough time in the beginning understanding the nuances of our customers, we collapse the time it takes for our business to hit that 5, 6, 7 figure a month bracket. This comes down to even comprehending the unconscious messaging through your imagery, the colours you use in your videos, and the symbols you’re using in your logo.

I’ve had people come to me thinking their brand is all about freedom. And then when we’ve tested it with the market, the market thinks their brand is about working too much and hustling too hard. Nobody wants to buy from them because they feel like all they’re going to do is build another prison for themselves and their business, when really they’re trying to teach people how to make money without working harder.

So get this right and avoid these types of miscommunications.
